What is a Retrofit Coordinator?
A Retrofit Coordinator is someone tasked with supervising the evaluation of properties, along with the supervision and assessment of energy efficiency measures, following the guidelines outlined in PAS 2035.
Your Retrofit Coordinator at Smart NRG
After our retrofit assessments for your home, we may have outlined some recommended areas of improvement such as boiler upgrades, wall insulation and other energy-efficient avenues. If our customers choose to implement these recommendations, we will develop a retrofit development plan and you will be introduced to our Retrofit Coordinator who can oversee the entire process for you.
We can serve as the point of contact for all retrofit projects, providing comprehensive oversight from the surveying to completion. This includes collaborating with heating engineers, builders, and contractors to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach throughout the process. We will introduce our customers to a trusted network of industry professionals to bring in the right people for any necessary energy-efficiency improvement throughout your property.
The documentation of the project's progress is very important and will be produced by your Retrofit Coordinator, covering any information that is supplied by building owners, and other retrofit stakeholders involved in the delivery of your project.
Our team will also be able to explain whether you are eligible for LEAP support or if you qualify for ECO4.
Your appointed Retrofit Coordinator at Smart NRG will provide you with clear updates on the progress of your upgrades, ensuring that our customers are informed throughout the process.
